What a delightful surprise this pizza joint is! It doesn't look like much but you really should give it a try. A one-woman-show, she managed to successfully make and deliver 8 delicious perfectly crispy crust pizzas to our table. We were skeptical at first, but left with our bellies full and happy!

When it comes to restaurant, Terlingua does not offer much so it's easy for restaurants to get super busy with 1+ hour wait. This was the case with Starlight Saloon. Because we didn't want to wait, my friends and I found ourselves going to Long Draw Pizza instead. From the outside, the restaurant is dark, super dark, and looks almost abandoned. However, don't be fooled by its exterior, because Nancy, the owner, is friendly and welcoming, and her pizzas do not disappoint...so we came here twice for dinner.
The prices here are inexpensive and for $2 you can get yourself a beer, which is mind blowing -- and for $7, you can get a PITCHER of Shiner Bock -- even more mind blowing. The pizzas come in 3 sizes - small, medium and large. You can do half-half which is what we did. I enjoyed all the pizzas we ordered so I'm sure you can't get go wrong with any of them! -

Cigarette smoke. Should be named "long wait" pizza. Lady was by herself. Working hard but... no help. Once she took our order she was literally too busy. People at the bar helping themselves to bears. When the pizza finally came out it was burnt. Black crust. The pizza was just ok otherwise. Somewhere between Red Baron and dominos. Gotta tell you. Pass this place by. It is not worth it. I'm not local and have no affiliation to this place.

Umm, not open?? We tried to find this place. Yes, it was dark out but we couldn't find it (or anything resembling an open establishment). When we tried to call, we reached a canned answering machine. We asked our river guide about if the next day and were told this place was only open "some of the time" Obviously not this time!

Super nice people, pizza was good too. It was a nice break from the resort food. Good pizza for a reasonable price. Sit down and have a visit with them too. Wish we could have stayed and chatted longer.
